All psychological evaluations adhere to established professional and ethical guidelines. Objectivity and adherence to best clinical practices are central to every assessment. Each evaluation is unique and tailored to the client's specific needs and circumstances, with procedures selected to best address the referral questions. Dr. Brauman also takes great care to provide a safe and respectful setting for all clients.

Fees

Please contact our office for a discussion of specific fee schedules and payment options. Dr. Brauman does not accept insurance.

Forensic evaluations are not typically covered by commerical insurance carriers as they are considered a legal service rather than a health necessity. For most evaluations, the typical hourly rate is $250/hour. Evaluations are customized to the referral question and specific case information. You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate before entering into a contract for service.

Pre-surgical evaluations are typically invoiced for a flat fee of $350. Dr. Brauman offers discounted rates for financial hardship. While she does not contract with any health insurance companies, you may request a Superbill to submit a claim for reimbursement.

Additional fees apply for interpretation services, rushed evaluations, and evening/weekend hours. A limited number of discounted fee evaluations are offered on a case-by-case basis each year to improve access to care for those with financial hardships.
